Donation Solution

The Need

The Client, a charitable organization, required an on-line web page to allow patrons to make a one-time or recurring donation. As the page was to be accessible to the public, the Client desired the solution to be uncomplicated to the customer yet secure from fraudulent activity.

The Solution

The Professional Services team at Skipjack built a web interface that allowed the Client’s supporters to access a page via a link from the Client’s website. From there, the supporter could make a donation or schedule recurring payments to be made to the charitable organization. The solution included the same “look and feel” as the Client’s own website, to increase the confidence level of the supporter when making their donations.

The Results

By providing a clear and simple means for means for patrons to donate to the organization, the Client was able to increase revenue. The application provided a secondary benefit of providing demographic and contact information for marketing purposes.

Solution launch page	Provides a password-protected starting page from which to access specific components of the solution.
Virtual Point of Sale payment application	Customized payment screen that enables donor payment information to be entered. Also enables recurring donation payments to be entered.
Find transaction interface	Allows user to locate a specific transaction by any combination of date range, transaction status, card type or other criteria.
Transaction Change Status interface	Allows specified user to display selected transactions and perform voids, refunds, re-bills and settlement requests.
Re-bill Confirmation	Confirmation screen for a selected reauthorized transaction.
Recurring Payment Search/Edit interface	Allows specified user to search for specific recurring payment and edit its contents.
Credit Card expiration report	Displays list of credit cards that will expire in the next specified time period. Useful for editing recurring payments in anticipation of card expiry.
Access Control interface	Allows an administrative user to control internal users and their associated access “privileges”.
Edit User interface	Part of the Access Control component. Allows an administrative user to edit user details.
